The section Arctobia of the genus Oxytropis represented by 18–19 species and subspecies is concentrated in Beringia. By a range of characters (a very short beak of keel and others) the section corresponds to the ancient cryophilic branch of the genus separated from the primitive subgenus Phacoxytropis . To perform a phytogeographic analysis of the section, a technology realized by GIS MapInfo Professional was used.
